Our Lady Wranglers tonight proudly continued one of their legacies from last year of fighting every moment of the game from the first buzzer to the last. This is an impressive group of athletes all due to the character they display on the court. It was a tough start to the season as we lost all 3 games in our home opener against Tidwell. However, these ladies proved that they have what it takes to learn and improve. And, we may have found a new quarterback for the football team in Midhuna Prakash. By the end of each game, they were starting to successfully execute plays. There were also many individual successes this week. All three teams had defensive victories by picking some pockets, intercepting passes, and blocking shots. We had 2 different athletes who shot 100% of their free throws. They are Dhanushi Raval and Saujanyaa Balaji. Our offensive high scorers of the game were Maanya Polavarapu and Nitya Yadavalli. C Team had 3 different players tie for high score. We are very proud of how our athletes represented themselves and West tonight on the court and look forward to an amazing season.
