The Lady Wranglers stayed home again this week and played the East Broncos in our third game of the season. With a short week to prepare, the girls were excited to get back into action and be able to show what they have been learning. Our defensive backs did a great job of containing a tough and loaded forward four, and we did a much better job of passing the ball and getting the ball up the field with some opportunities to score. The wind was a factor in the second half and we struggled to fight against it, but overall the girls improved their field awareness as a whole and they continue to meet our goals and expectations each week.

Our players of the game this week were Ishitha Mallidi and Aryahi Ravi who earned some specific praise from the team leaders about their instinct on the field, and they jumped into new positions this week and it made a great positive impact for the team.

Next week, the girls are on the road to Medlin Middle School as we begin the second half of our season. Great job ladies!
