Track and Field has officially begun. The girls and boys have been working hard with workouts and practices to get faster, stronger, better. Our track meets have been on Wednesdays this year, and we have been competing against GCISD and Coppell North and Coppell East. All athletes have done a great job and improved times, jumps, and throws in every track meet. We had Zone Meet last week, with all the Coppell Middle Schools. We have over 26 girls going to the Meet of Champs next week and 28 boys going to compete. Our numbers have doubled and we can't be more proud of our girls and boys!

Esha Polishetty received 1st place in all her events last week. She is our Wrangler Athlete of the Week. Great job Esha! Our 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 8th grade girls teams received 1st place as well. Those girls are Sophia Houston, Jasmine Suez, Anjini Subramanian, Rachana Ambati, and Esha Polishetty. Great job Lady Wranglers.

7th grader Kendi Kimathi earned 1st placed in triple jump and 3rd place in long jump. She will be leading the way with other 7th grade girls such as Kashvi Mogili and Anusri Katuru.
